Barnes Office
One of the most remarkable stages of our design process: ultra-realistic renders. Offices for BARNES International Realty in a two-storey villa, where the brand’s red is used sparingly against white panelled salons and an anthracite meeting suite.
The main salon: white panelling, a grey velvet sofa and the single red chair that carries the brand.
The building is treated as a house rather than an office. Ground-floor rooms keep their domestic scale: wall mouldings, herringbone parquet, a marble fireplace. Meeting takes place around dining tables; waiting takes place on armchairs. The BARNES identity appears as a single illuminated sign and one red chair per room.
A conservatory at the rear, roofed in painted timber and glazed to the garden, holds a twelve-seat table and functions as the main presentation room. A stone-clad wall with a ribbon fireplace anchors the screen. Behind glazed partitions, an anthracite meeting suite with a black kitchen and bookshelf wall serves the team.
The exterior was re-dressed in grey render with charcoal quoins, red awnings and back-lit listing displays in the windows, so that the house announces itself quietly along the street both by day and by night.
